BULK WORKFLOW GUIDE
Bulk-edit supported GPSR information with a review step.
The safe sequence is profile, match, preview, apply, inspect, and—only where supported—Undo. CertaCart does not silently turn a catalogue scan into a bulk write.
Use a reusable profile for repeated entities
Create a manufacturer or EU responsible-person profile from reviewed source data. A profile reduces repeated typing but does not prove that the entity or information applies to every product in the match set.
Match a deliberate product set
Select products by unique Product ID or SKU. Pro profile preview accepts up to 5,000 unique identifiers. Resolve duplicate, missing, or unexpected matches before applying anything.
Preview exact field changes
Review the products and fields CertaCart proposes to change. Check what will be added, what already matches, and what should remain untouched. The preview itself does not modify product data.
Apply, inspect, and record the outcome
Run the confirmed batch, then inspect applied, skipped, missing, and conflicting results. Re-scan the catalogue after the operation and spot-check storefront pages in the actual theme.
Understand Undo before relying on it
Conflict-safe Undo applies only to supported profile bulk changes while their pre-change snapshot is retained. A field is restored only if its current value still matches the value CertaCart applied, so newer manual edits are preserved. CSV apply has no Undo.
