TERMS

Plain terms for a focused product.

These Terms govern use of CertaCart and paid CertaCart Pro plans. By purchasing a plan or using the product, you agree to them. If you use CertaCart for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.

1. Product scope

CertaCart is a technical product-information preparation, display, and readiness-checking tool for WooCommerce. It does not provide legal advice, product-safety assessment, certification, regulatory representation, official translation, or a guarantee of legal compliance.

You remain responsible for deciding which requirements apply; the legality, safety, accuracy, completeness, and language of product information; selecting and verifying economic operators; and reviewing final storefront output.

2. Free and paid software

The Free plugin may be used under the open-source license included with its distribution. A paid subscription provides access to the Premium build, updates, paid support, and activation on the number of sites included in the purchased plan. Payment does not transfer ownership of CertaCart or its brand.

Paid licenses may be used for your own sites or, on a multi-site plan, client sites you actively maintain. You may not resell, share, publish, or pool license keys; provide the Premium package as a standalone product; evade activation limits; or use one license for more active sites than the plan permits.

3. Accounts, licenses, and local data

You must provide accurate checkout and account information and protect access to your purchase email, Freemius account, WordPress administrators, and license keys. Notify liyitao459@gmail.com if a license or account may be compromised.

License checks control access to paid functionality and updates. Expiration, cancellation, or refund may disable Premium functionality and updates, but CertaCart will not intentionally delete product metadata, profiles, or scan history solely because a paid license becomes inactive.

4. Pricing, taxes, and payment

Prices, site limits, billing periods, and included features are shown on this website and again at checkout. Applicable taxes may be added based on the buyer’s location and status.

Freemius is the merchant of record for paid transactions and processes checkout, payment, tax, invoices, subscriptions, refunds, and related buyer account information under the terms shown at checkout. Full payment-card details are not provided to CertaCart.

5. Annual renewal and cancellation

Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval disclosed at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel future renewal through the buyer-account link supplied by Freemius or by contacting liyitao459@gmail.com. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal time to reduce the risk that a payment is already processing.

Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not retroactively refund an earlier charge. Access to paid updates and support continues through the already-paid term unless the associated payment is refunded or the license is terminated for misuse.

6. Refunds

Paid purchases are covered by the CertaCart Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

7. Updates and support

An active paid subscription includes product updates and support for documented WordPress, WooCommerce, and PHP versions. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product and platforms evolve, but material value will not intentionally be removed during a paid term without a reasonable replacement, migration path, or refund where required.

Support covers installation, activation, reproducible defects, documented compatibility, licenses, updates, fields, reports, and documented imports. It does not include legal interpretation, certification, drafting or translating warnings, custom development, malware cleanup, hosting administration, or unlimited catalogue data entry.

8. Your data, backups, and acceptable use

CertaCart stores product and scan data in your WordPress database. You control that database and must maintain appropriate backups, test material changes on staging where practical, secure administrator access, and comply with privacy and other obligations for your store.

You must not use CertaCart to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware; gain unauthorized access; interfere with CertaCart, Freemius, or other users; misrepresent CertaCart output as certification or legal advice; or remove copyright, license, or attribution notices where removal is prohibited.

9. Third-party services and compatibility

CertaCart depends on WordPress, WooCommerce, your hosting environment, and, for paid services, Freemius. Those services have their own terms and may change or be unavailable. CertaCart cannot guarantee compatibility with every theme, extension, custom checkout, page builder, cache, host, or future platform release.

10. Intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability

Except for open-source components governed by their own licenses, CertaCart’s brand, documentation, designs, and proprietary materials remain ours or our licensors’. Feedback may be used to improve the product without an obligation to compensate you, provided you are not identified publicly without permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertaCart is provided as is and as available. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free results. CertaCart does not warrant that use will prevent a penalty, recall, marketplace restriction, delisting, loss, or legal claim.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data. Aggregate liability arising from the paid product will not exceed the amount paid for CertaCart during the 12 months before the event. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using Free at any time and cancel a paid subscription as described above. Paid access may be suspended or terminated for non-payment, license abuse, security risk, unlawful use, or material breach. Where practical, notice and an opportunity to cure will be given before termination.

These Terms may be updated for product, provider, security, or legal changes. The updated effective date will be posted here. Material changes affecting an active paid term will receive reasonable notice when required.

12. Governing law, disputes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, the parties submit to the courts with jurisdiction in Chengdu, Sichuan. Before filing a formal claim, contact liyitao459@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the checkout terms, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy form the entire agreement for the paid service. Contact: Yitao Li, Chengdu, Sichuan, China; liyitao459@gmail.com.
